Jan Sangharsh Manch strongly condemns the recent attacks on youngsters in a pub in Mangalore by the self styled guardians of Indian Culture. JSM stands for a vibrant culture which would encourage individual freedom, freedom of expression, celebration of India‘s diverse cultural traditions and co-existence with mutual respect.
JSM strongly believes that the right wing fanatics, who in the name of protecting ‘Indian Culture’ beat up young boys and molest young girls, have a deeper conspiracy to control our lives, thoughts and actions. Their hidden agenda is also to divert the attention from real issues. Today, in times of global economic meltdown, youngsters in India are facing serious challenges in the form of high education cost, unemployment and a market economy that thrives on survival of the fittest mantra.
With respect to the threats for not letting the Valentine’s Day to be celebrated, JSM categorically maintains that any unlawful restrictions or physical attacks ought to be dealt with proactive resistance and stern action as per the law of the land.
Thanks and regards
Dr. Mukul Sinha
Chairman, JSM
