The Encounters

1. Sameer Khan Pathan was killed on 22.10.2002 at 1.55 am while in the custody of the Gujarat Police on the allegation that he was about to attackl the policemen.




2. Sadik Jamal Mehtar was killed on 13^th January, 2003 near Galaxy cinema , Ahmedabad on the allegation that he had come to murder Narendra Modi as a part of LeT conspiracy. He was a local scooter mechanic from Bhasvnagar!




3. Ishrat Jahan, a young girl from Mumbra (Mumbai), Javed Sheikh (Pranesh Pillai) from Puna and two unknown persons were shot dead by Gujarat Police near Kotarpur works, Naroda area, Ahmedabad on 15.6.2004 around 4 am in the morning on the alleged ground that they had conspired to kill Narendra Modi.




4. Sohrabuddin was killed on 26.11.2005 in the early morning near the Narol crossing, Ahmedabad, on the alleged ground that he was coming to kill Narendra Modi… His wife Kausarbi was killed on 29.11.2005. Tulsi was killed on 28.12.2006.




5. Four unknown Muslim youth were killed at Vatva, Ahemadabad on 17.3.2006 on the alleged ground that they were part of a larger terrorist conspiracy to kill Modi…




6. In all the killings Banzara was the Police officer ordering the killings… Ever since his arrest after the intervention of the Supreme Court such killings have stopped… Perhaps because the main terrorist is in captivity…
